....."It was great leaving a course feeling that you can't wait to see your clients to try out all those interesting ideas and just having a better understanding of your client's difficulties and how you can make learning a lot more fun for them - Wow!".....A Speach & Language Therapist
....."I have at last learnt what level to pitch my intervention at. I feel as if Judy's given me permission to really work effectively with the children and see it in action".....SENCo
Level Two Training Course
Judy Gilham, 'the little group' Head teacher and Trainer, has expanded her exciting autism and early years training to a second day, full of new and practical ideas. This course is designed for those who have already attended a Level One course or those with more experience who would like to come into the training at a more intermediate level. The day will cover behavioural management strategies and further ways of developing attention.
Judy will demonstrate how to link 'messy play' activities to the curriculum and help you keep your local costs down by showing you how to use the day to day resources around you by looking at them and using them in a more creative and different way!
Our courses will be suitable for teachers, nursery staff, SENCO's, speech and language therapists and other staff who work with children with an ASD. Our courses are therefore suitable for staff of all disciplines and parents who work or live with children aged 2-5 years.
The workshops will focus on giving highly applicable, pragmatic and practical training that ensures young children experience meaningful and joyful access to early intervention and learning for life. The workshops deliver achievable yet inspirational training that values each individual and the unique contribution that they bring to positively promote creative and joyful-skill building
3-Day Workshops
We are also excited to be able to offer you our 3-day workshops (12 people) for people who work with children with autism and in your own working environment if you’d prefer. This training option will give you and the staff around you the unique opportunity to learn how to further develop your methods of working with children with autism in a tighter, more enlightened and much more effective way.
